Dash Lumber & Supply in New Orleans began creating their own lumber
back in 1946 by cutting pine trees from their family's
property and drying the wood, so Dash knows quality, and
still offers the best in quality lumber around.
Since then,
we have only chosen lumber suppliers that meet our own
quality standards.
We are unapologetic about our “no tolerance” policy for
inferior quality. We inspect every shipment to ensure that
the materials meet or exceed our grade standards. If not,
we send it back to the manufacturer right then and there. At

deserve. We recommend and carry BluWood and Hoover treated
wood products.
BluWood,
a specially treated plywood offering “perfect barrier
system” offering protection against termite and mold, stands
behind their products with a Life-Time Warranty. Dash works
with you to arrange a visit to your jobsite by a BluWood
professional to ensure proper installation. Hoover, the
largest provider of
fire
retardant treated lumber in the world, has also garnered
the respect of the associates at Dash.

Boise LVLs and
I-Beams. The TrimJoist™ can be quickly incorporated into any
house plan and is the first step to a floor system with
Superior Quality and Superior Support. Boise Engineered Wood
Products manufactures and markets engineered wood products,
which are building products with improved structural
characteristics and use our forests more efficiently.

Other Lumber Items frequently requested include:
Form stakes, and Kiln dried, or Kill dry
lumber. Our kiln dried materials will not shrink after
construction is completed, minimizing gaps, providing a
nicer finish. Materials at the box stores are often NOT
kiln dried.
